sound familiar?

You've become the bottleneck in your own business.

It's time to get back to closing deals and growing the business, not manually approving timesheets and re-answering questions you already answered once.

this might

Sound familiar.

  • There's one process, one system, one part of the business that only works because of workarounds, not because anyone actually designed it that way.
  • You've built something before that had to be redone a few months later because the real questions never got answered upfront, they just got typed in during the build so things could keep moving.
  • You know something needs to change, you're just not sure yet what should actually get built, or what tool it belongs in.
  • Or maybe you're not sure where the real risk is at all, you just know something feels held together by habit, not by design.
  • Either way, it's not about you doing anything wrong. It's just what happens as a business grows past the point where one person can hold it all in their head.

here's

What changes.

  • You can take a real day off, or a real vacation, without your phone blowing up.
  • You spend your time on the decisions only you can make, not chasing down whatever's falling through the cracks today.
  • Your team knows what to do without waiting on you to answer the same question again.
  • You're not rebuilding this again in six months because the real decisions got made this time, not guessed at.

how it works

Every engagement starts the same way: figuring out what's actually true.

Before anything gets built, I map how the work actually needs to flow. That means defining the statuses that matter, grouping the processes that belong together, and identifying the key fields and rules the business runs on, the kind of decisions that look small in the moment but quietly become how the business actually operates.

This is called the Blueprint, and it's the foundation of everything I build. It's also tool-agnostic. Airtable is very often the right home for what we find, it's my specialty, but the Blueprint is an honest assessment first. If something else fits better, we'll work through that instead.

Some clients stop here, with a clear picture of what needs to happen and no obligation to build it with me. Most use the Blueprint as the first step toward an actual build, since the findings feed directly into the next stage instead of sitting in a report.

about me

You'll be working with me. Not an agency.

I'm Melissa, and I run Let's Pivot Solutions myself. From the first call through the Blueprint, the build, and everything after, there's no account manager between us and no team of subcontractors, just the person who actually did the work, answering the phone when you have a question.

work together

Three ways to work together.

Tier 1

The Blueprint

What you get: A full diagnostic, workflow mapping, statuses, key fields, and an honest read on what should be built and where it belongs.

Best forBusinesses that want clarity before committing to a build, or want to hand the findings to someone else to implement.

Tier 2 · Most founders start here

Blueprint + Build

What you get: Everything in the Blueprint, plus implementation of one specific process into a working system, ready to use.

Best forBusinesses that know, or are ready to find out, which one process needs fixing most, and want it built right the first time.

Tier 3

Blueprint + Full Build

What you get: Everything in the Blueprint, plus implementation across the business, not just one process, but the connected systems that run it.

Best forBusinesses ready to address the whole picture at once, not just the most urgent piece of it.

kind words

What it's like to work together.

"Melissa was amazing to work with, she's extremely talented when it comes to building complex Airtable bases, and a great communicator. She was always flexible in adapting to our work style and what we needed. I would absolutely recommend her."
Lacey P., real estate operations project
"Melissa was genuinely the kindest person I have ever worked with. She ensured that all questions were answered and all tasks were completed. I personally had never worked with Airtable before, and she patiently took me through the program step by step. She even made us step-by-step videos that we could watch back after our contract ended. Her vast knowledge of all things integrations, tables, and bases was very impressive, and our nonprofit was lucky to work with her!"
Cate K., nonprofit membership system project
"Melissa was instrumental in the success of our Airtable application development project. Without her subject matter expertise and project management skills, we would not have been able to complete the project on time and on budget."
David S., application development project

the right fit

Who this is for.

This is probably a fit if:

  • You're a founder-led service business, generally 5 to 20 employees.
  • You know something needs to change, whether or not you know exactly what yet.
  • You're willing to spend a real conversation upfront getting the decisions right, not just jumping straight to a screen.
  • You want direct access to the person doing the work, not an agency with account managers in between.

This probably isn't a fit if:

  • You're currently the only person doing the work, with no one else who'd need to understand how it runs.
  • You're an enterprise organization with dedicated IT and operations staff already in place.
  • You need day-to-day executive leadership rather than a project-based engagement.
  • You want someone to just start building without asking what the business actually needs first.

good questions

Questions you might have.

If you're not sure yet what needs to be built, or you want the findings without committing to implementation, start with the Blueprint alone. If you already suspect where the biggest issue is, Blueprint + Build gets you the diagnosis and the fix in one engagement. If you know the whole business needs attention, not just one process, start there.

No. The Blueprint is a genuine, tool-agnostic assessment, I map how the work needs to flow before deciding where it should live. Airtable is very often the right answer, it's my specialty, but it's not the starting assumption. If something else fits better, that's what I'll recommend.

Because the fastest way to end up rebuilding something is to start typing before the real decisions get made. A status field or an approval rule looks like a small configuration choice, but it quietly becomes how the work actually flows. Answering that upfront costs a conversation. Guessing at it costs a rebuild later.

You could, and if that's the right call for you, it's a good use of time. But the harder part was never the software, it's getting the real decisions made and agreed on. Most founders I work with have decided their time is better spent running the business than sitting through that process alone.

Yes. I'm not an agency, there's no team of subcontractors or account managers between you and the work.
